Applus+ strengthens vehicle-inspection activity in Madrid, opening a station in Colmenar Viejo

    Applus+, through the Automotive Division in Spain, has opened a new vehicle inspection station in Colmenar Viejo, which lies in the north of the Community of Madrid.
    The facility boasts a surface area of 2,000 square metres and three inspection lines equipped with state-of-the-art vehicle inspection technology. It will enable us to offer our customers all the latest technical advances with a view to improving their safety as well as an enhanced quality of service, making inspections a more pleasant experience. This includes providing waiting areas and car parks for our customers.

    The new station will directly employ 14 staff and will serve the wide pool of Madrid vehicles that are subject to statutory periodic inspections.

    Applus+, a world leader in the field of statutory vehicle inspections, has carried out some 20 million vehicle inspections globally. In Spain, the company has a network of 51 centres across the country, with five stations – in Alcobendas, Pinto, San Blas, Colmenar Viejo and Vallecas – in Madrid alone.
